My delicate petals beautify your life
A fragrant dance under the mystic moonlight
The glamour and glory are where I thrive
But do you think of me on a stormy night?

My colours captivate as hopes revive
And I gracefully dance to the hum of sunlight
A radiant glow as your joys arrive
But do you think of me on a stormy night?

As thunder rolls and clouds contrive
I quiver at the looming sight
With innocence at stake, to live I strive
Did you think of me on this stormy night?

Then bullets rain and winds drive
As I hold on to exist with all my might
Was ignorance bliss? Only the strong survive
So think of me on a stormy night.
